Bob Ford - Principle, Commercial Lines Specialist

Bob entered the insurance business at the age of 19, managing an office for a direct writer in Wahpeton, ND in 1976. Transferring to Dickinson, ND in 1977, Bob has traveled and worked in all sections of the state of North Dakota, finally settling in the agency in 1979. With over 28 years of insurance experience, Bob has become a leader in the insurance field with his most recent honor of being elected President of the Professional Insurance Agents of North Dakota (PIA). Another honor was being named the North Dakota Insurance Agent of the Year.

Dave Oehlke - Principle, Commercial Lines Specialist

Dave began his insurance career in 1975 when he became the manager for an agency in Cando ND. After two years he moved to Devils Lake ND to become part of the Felchle Agency. He eventually purchased and merged 3 other insurance agencies together and owned and operated them under the name of The Insurance Store for 25 years. Dave joined our agency in 2004. He is a CIC as well as a commercial lines specialist. "I like to keep active - it's harder to hit a moving target! Between community activities, our two Newfoundland Search Dogs, and Vicki's quilting, life is never boring. I look forward to helping our clients with their insurance needs in this ever-changing business."

Jim Howard - Crop Hail and Crop Insurance Specialists

Jim received his licenses for life & health and property & casualty in 1994. He began working as agency manager for Towner County Insurance Agency on Valentine's Day of that year. He worked three years prior to this as a crop insurance adjuster for North American Crop Underwriters. Jim graduated from NDSU in 1975 and worked in Ag Credit for FMHA for one year and for the next eight years as an Ag Loan Officer for Towner County State Bank, now CountryBank USA. In the spring of 1984 he became a full time farmer which he continued until 1998 when he chose to make insurance his full time career. Jim specializes in Ag related insurance and Long-term Care Insurance. Jim has continued to have a special interest working with the area farmers and their insurance needs.

Devonna Brenno - Commercial Lines Agent / Accounting

Devonna was recently awarded the Customer Support Person of the Year by the Insurance Companies operating in North Dakota. This is a prestigious award as it is recognition from among thousands of eligible insurance agency employees in North Dakota.

Devonna has 20 years experience in the bookkeeping arena. As head of the Accounting Department, she addresses all billing questions from clients and companies. In addition to her responsibilities as head of accounting, Devonna also works as lead customer support representative in the commercial lines area. She assists all of our commercial accounts with billing questions, policy questions, endorsements of all kinds, and much more.

Devonna has been with CountryInsure USA since February 1997. She obtained her Agents license in February 1998. Devonna continually receives compliments from many clients on her professional, helpful, and friendly attitude of service. She continually puts the customer's needs first. Devonna has also completed her ACSR designation (Accredited Customer Service Representative) and is currently pursuing her CISR designation. In her spare time Devonna enjoys camping, fishing, biking and spending time with her family.

Kathy Ford - Personal Lines Department Head

Kathy Ford has been the head of Personal Lines in the agency since 1990. To further her knowledge in the insurance business, she has completed her designation as ACSR. (Accredited Customer Service Representative) This will enable her to further upgrade her already top-notch level of customer service. She is currently working on her CISR designation.

Kathy works as a lead customer support for personal lines, and will pursue and answer any or all questions a client may have. She assists with home, auto, and farm policies. In her spare time Kathy enjoys cross stitching, gardening, walking her dog and spending time with her family.

Karen Lang - Personal Lines Specialist

Karen started her first insurance job in 1968 with the Western Insurance Companies as their receptionist. She was soon promoted to personal lines underwriting and then to commercial lines underwriting. In 1986 Karen moved to the agency side of the business working as a customer support representative and joined CountryInsure USA in February of 2004. Karen's vibrant personality and positive attitude consistently earned her the highest compliments from our clients. Karen has started work on her CISR designation. Karen's hobbies would include cross stitching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Gloria Price - Bookkeeping / Customer Service Rep

Gloria has been with CountryBank USA since 1978. She obtained her insurance license in 1983 and has been working in our bookkeeping department. Gloria has received many complements from our clients over the years. She takes pride in getting things done quickly and correctly, and really enjoys working with people to help them with their insurance needs. Gloria is also pursuing her ASCR designation.

Katie Hovland

Katie joined CountryInsure USA in October of 2004 and earned her insurance license in May 2005. Katie works with the personal lines insurance working with the hard to place auto policies. She earned this position because of her helpful attitude and willingness to go the extra steps. Katie will be starting her CISR designation. She enjoys cross stitching and horse back riding.
